About The Workshop

The 3rd International Workshop on Emerging Networks and Communications (IWENC 2021) will be held on August 9-12 2021 in Leuven, Belgium in conjunction with The 15th International Conference on Future Networks and Communications (FNC-2021).

This workshop will bring together researchers from academia and industry to present their latest achievements, innovations, state-of-the art research and developmental work in the broad areas of networks, communication, security and mobile systems. Authors are invited to submit papers that fall into the area of Future Networks and Communications covering novel research results, case studies and applications in related areas of interest.

the capital and largest city of the province of Flemish Brabant in the Flemish Region of Belgium. It is located about 25 kilometres (16 miles) east of Brussels. The municipality itself comprises the historic city and the former neighbouring municipalities of Heverlee, Kessel-Lo, a part of Korbeek-Lo, Wilsele and Wijgmaal. It is the eighth largest city in Belgium and the fourth in Flanders with more than 100,244 inhabitants.


Call for papers

Authors are requested to submit their papers electronically using the online conference management system in PDF format before the deadline. The submission processes will be managed by

  • The submitted paper must be formatted according to the guidelines of Procedia Computer Science , MS Word Template , Latex , Template Generic , Elsevier.

  • Submitted technical papers must be no longer than 6 pages for full papers, 4 pages for short papers and 2 pages for work in progress, including all figures, tables and references.

  • Authors are requested to submit their papers electronically using the online conference management system in PDF format before the deadline.

    If you have used this system before, you can use the same username and password. If this is your first time using EasyChair, you will need to register for an account by clicking “I have no EasyChair account” button. Upon completion of registration, you will get a notification email from the system and you are ready for submitting your paper. You can upload and re-upload the paper to the system by the submission due date.

  • All accepted papers will be scheduled for oral presentations and will be included in the conference proceedings published by Elsevier Science in the open-access Procedia Computer Science series (online). Procedia Computer Sciences is hosted on and on Elsevier content platform ScienceDirect, and will be freely available worldwide. All papers in Procedia will also be indexed by Scopus and Engineering Village (Ei). This includes EI Compendex. All accepted papers will also be indexed in DBLP.

    At least one author of each accepted paper is required to register and attend the conference to present the work.
